The Voce AV 5.1k amplifier has been given the Grand Prix Award, annually assigned by the Japanese "Auto Sound" magazine, the most important award for car audio in Japan and one of the most prestigious in the world.
A few months ago, Audison AV 5.1k received the EISA award, for the "In-Car Electronics" category, and attained the title of "European In-Car Amplifier 2011-2012"; now it has received another significant acknowledgement.
It is the third time that an Audison product gains an Award from the Auto Sound jury and this news has been greeted with pleasure and satisfaction by the Audison R&D team. Mr Emidio Vagnoni, Audison R&D Director, expressed his gratification with these words:
« When I received the information that the Audison AV 5.1k was rewarded with the Grand Prix Award by the highly qualified "Auto Sound" magazine I said to myself: this is a nice day.
It is always a pleasure to receive an award, but in this case the pleasure is especially great. We realized the AV 5.1k project as the ideal amplifier to install in our personal car, with the fear that the product may not be properly understood by the market.
The Auto Sound Grand Prix Award clears out this fear and it is wonderful to know that, despite the distance and the language difficulties to communicate, enthusiasts of the same industry can feel the same harmony.»

It is the tenth time that an Elettromedia product gains the most prestigious award in Europe for its industry and the second time that the Audison Voce line is awarded: last year EISA expressed its appreciation for the Audison project by assigning the title of “European In-Car Speaker System 2010-2011” to the Voce AV K6 system.
Coming directly from the Thesis line, the Voce amplifiers represent the sublime combination of analog and digital technologies; the five-channel AV 5.1k is the product which best shows this outstanding, complex solution, and the EISA Jury expressed an unquestionable judgement: “you can explore the future of Car Audio”.
The panel of experts who assigned the EISA Award to AV 5.1k motivated their choice as follows:
«More than just an amplifier! The Audison Voce AV 5.1k represents a new philosophy in amplifier design thanks to a choice of two different, interchangeable modules, which provide either analogue or high-resolution digital inputs. By choosing the optional AV bit IN module, you can explore the future of Car Audio: Full DA 96/24 bit. In this “full digital mode”, high-resolution music is able to flow from head unit directly to the power stage of the amplifier. The alternative analogue input module offers high and low level inputs, and a comprehensive set of filters for each channel. In both cases, you get a complete, versatile 5-channel amplifier from world-renowned Italian quality and famous Audison sound. »
EISA (European Imaging and Sound Association) is an association representing 50 specialised magazines from 19 European countries and assigning year by year prestigious awards for different categories.
The prize-giving ceremony took place in Berlin on September 2nd; notable personalities and experts coming from all over the world attended it, including a delegation from Elettromedia.
All the photos of this event are published on the Elettromedia Photo Gallery.

The Elettromedia staff once again achieved
success by investing ambition and passion into a new project
which opens the mind to the future of mobile audio
reproduction: the
Audison Full DA technology, Full Digital Audio.
Elettromedia displayed,
for the first time, a demo car featuring Full DA
technology; a VW GTI VI built by Mobile Solutions in
Calgary Alberta Canada. This vehicle offered attendees the
ability to “listen to the difference” between a traditional
system vs. an Full DA system working
entirely in the digital domain. The system featured a
Mac Mini with coaxial digital output controlled by a 7’’ touch
screen; then a special Demo-lab version of the Audison
bit Onemanaging the
24bit/96kHzdigital audio signal; and finally on to an
Audison
AV 5.1kamplifier, belonging to the new Audison Voce
amplifier line, a world wide premiere at CES.
Thanks to the Full DA technology it was possible to
reproduce HD liquid music (high definition liquid music)
tracks, emphasizing the accuracy and musicality of the system,
brought to life by the Audison Voce speakers; three-way front
speakers + subwoofer.
Among the new Audison products, there were also the two
new processors debuted, expanding the
bit line:
bit Tenand
bit Ten D, the latter being able to manage digital input
and output signals in combination with any of the Audison Voce
amplifiers; AV uno, AV due, AV quattro or AV 5.1k.
A MINI Cooper Clubman, built by Sound Innovations in
Hayward California USA highlighted the
Hertzbrand; the
HDP 5amplifier and the extraordinary new
Mille line, both presented for the first time to the
enthusiastic audience.
With
HDP amplifiers,
Hertzmakes its debut in “
full-range switching” amplifier technology, merging high
power with extremely compact size. As to the new Mille line, it
is technological evolution; the result of the knowledge
acquired by the Hertz R&D team throughout years of product
development and exciting new product launches.
A popular and increasingly requested feature is
highlighted in this vehicle;
full integration of the Hertz audio system with the factory
equipped source unit. High level channels from the radio
are input into the new Bit Ten, where they are summed,
de-equalized, time corrected and acoustically tuned, before low
level channels are passed to the amplifier.
Also from the Hertz brand, the super compact
EBX F20and
EBX F25subwoofers were displayed. The highlights of
these high performance systems include an incredibly flat
profile, 108 and 119 mm respectively. Along with their
proprietary passive radiators, these systems provide reference
performance with simple, compact and versatile in-car
installations.

The Audison team opens the door to the future
of audio reproduction;
Audison Full DA 24 bit/96kHz. This new technology
provides
Full Digital Audiosignal transfer from the head unit,
through the DSP into the amplifiers, all in a high resolution
24 bit/96kHz format. We are now free from the limitations and
signal alterations of a traditional analogue system at the
standard resolution (16bits/44.1kHz).
With the innovative
Full DA 24 bit/96kHztechnology, the audio data, from a
DVD-A disc or from a high resolution audio file (WAV, FLAC,….),
is sent from the head unit in a digital format to the input of
the Audison BIT ONE*. Here the signal is optimized with the
powerful on-board DSP before it is sent, still in a high
resolution digital format, to the Audison Thesis or all new
Audison Voce amplifiers via the proprietary Audison AD Link
system. The conversion from analogue into the digital domain
occurs at the first stage of the amplifier. This process is
entrusted to 24 bit/192kHz D/A converters, ensuring exceptional
audio performance. It is only after this extremely accurate
digital transfer and conversion that the signal is amplified by
the Audison A and/or AB Class circuitries, renowned for their
musical detail and warmth.
Come and experience the unveiling of a new frontier in audio
reproduction!
Audison Full DA 24bit/96kHztechnology, along with the
new Audison Voce amplifiers will make their world-wide debut
during the 2011 CES in Las Vegas from January 6th to 8th
2011. Be sure to visit us in
“SALON A” of the “Orleans Hotel & Casino”.

Audison renews the legendary SRx line and
amazes, again.
The new SRx satisfies the desire for both power and
cosmetics, being ideal for the enthusiasts who want to enter
into the world of car audio through an amplifier of excellence.
Six models made to perfectly balance size, versatility,
power and sound quality: all of this ensuring quality and
finish, in the tradition of the Audison "Made in Italy".
Its design develops around the concept of total aluminium
and the SRx confirms to be the "youngest", coolest amplifier of
the Audison brand.
The plus points of the aluminium can be measured not only
in terms of cosmetics, but also of performance: in fact, its
capability of resistance and dissipation have now increased.
From the original line the new SRx inherits the extreme
versatility, allowing to drive whatever speakers. More
specifically, the SRx 1D can boast the "Amp Chain Mode"
advanced feature, providing the ability of a "cascade"
configuration of connection of many amplifiers granting the
possibility of using only the controls of the first amplifier
(the "master") to drive the whole group.
Following the tradition of Audison, the controls of the
new SRx are found along the top panel. Operating modes,
sensitivity adjustments and crossover controls are entirely
independent, by-passable and configurable.
The proprietary DYNAB (Dynamic AB) Class circuitry merges
the power of the B Class amplifier with the efficiency of an AB
Class amplifier: the best possible linear voltage to the
advantage of sound quality.
Audison created a new SRx which, still keeping the spirit
of the original line, is a highly innovative product offering
unheard of solutions both from a technical and design
standpoint.

After the great Italian success of My Special
Car Show in Rimini, Elettromedia saw an incredible success of
visitors at "Car+Sound Show 2007" as well, the most important
car electronics show in Europe, which took place in Sinsheim,
Germany, from 19 to 22 April 2007.
The Elettromedia booth, proving to be once again
unquestionable leader in the show, attracted the car audio fans
with three superlative demo cars: a Hyundai Coupé, an Opel
Astra and a Fiat Grande Punto. This latest car, just like at
the "My Special Car Show", was the queen of the event: with an
installation designed to produce sensational sound power,
literally "invaded" the Hall 1 with its sound.
Elettromedia presented the latest new products in
Sinsheim: the new SPL Monster subwoofer line for the Hertz
brand. The products, which the visitors of the Rimini show had
already appreciated, were welcomed with great admiration by the
international Car Audio specialists.
The Elettromedia exhibition area offered an overwhelming
animation to the visitors of the show: music and girls, among
which there was also Miss E.M.M.A. (European Mobile Media
Association), which were at the booth to celebrate the recent
entry of the Hertz brand into the official E.M.M.A. network
partners.
The company also arranged two booths in the areas devoted
to sound competitions, the E.M.M.A. and the dbDrag area. Inside
the first area an Hertz Mille demo car was displayed, the
Chrysler Voyager, equipped with an audio installation made by
the Elettromedia designers, thus showing the top level know-how
and highly professional standards. At the same time inside the
dbDrag area, a Seat Ibiza was playing, originating from the
collaboration between the Italian magazine "Mega Tuning" and
Elettromedia.
Just like last year, the presence of Elettromedia on this
important European stage ended with excellent results, proving
that the company's success is growing bigger and
bigger!
04.2007
Elettromedia took part in the My Special Car
Show 2007, in Rimini from 13 to 15 April, confirming its role
of main driving force within the Italian Car Audio market.
During the first three days of the Show, which was devoted to
car customizing, the Elettromedia booth attracted a great
number of visitors.
After the success of 2006, the company decided to attend
the Show using the same formula, though changing the numbers:
one section of the exhibition area was reserved for the
corporate demo cars and for the presentation of the products,
while another section was exclusively reserved for the Masters
Network. Also, this year the Elettromedia exhibition area was
even bigger.
On occasion of the show, besides exhibiting the products
the car audio fans most appreciate, the latest new products
were presented, being designed and created according to the
highest technology, performance and design standards:
concerning the Hertz brand, a complete restyling of the Energy
line and of the SPL Monster subwoofers was made; in regards to
the Audison brand, the new version of the SRx line made its
debut.
To amaze and entertain, especially with installations:
this is the Elettromedia leit-movit. Inside the booth four demo
cars astonished the fans and the curious. A Chrysler Grand
Voyager, equipped with a Hertz Mille line loudspeaker system
and four Audison amplifiers, satisfied the most demanding
audiophiles just like an actual listening room.
On the other side of the booth the Fiat Grande Punto,
already perfect last year, has come back again to the show with
its audio system and its cosmetics changed and received a
surprising success.
Finally two wonderful "dream cars": the Alfa Romeo GT
with Hertz loudspeakers and amplifiers and the Chrysler CS 300
with a Hertz ML 5400D sub installed as well as amplifiers of
the Audison memorable VRx line.
These three days were pretty intense for Elettromedia,
especially in the Masters Network area.
The Masters area hosted a gathering with more than 30
cars coming from all over Italy, plus an area arranged like an
actual Masters Store, with staff there to provide any
information about the product. But the main activity of the
Network was focused on the Masters Training Institute: real
time works in the booth area and the grand opening of a new
workshop in the Conference area of the Rimini Show, which a
much bigger crowd than the expected attended. The Elettromedia
staff is fully satisfied with this edition of the My Special
Car Show: see you in the next edition!

The latest success of Elettromedia: CES 2007.
Elettromedia took part in the Consumer Electronics Show and
achieved an astonishing performance, with such a significant
commitment as has never happened before for a show in the
United States. Since 1991 the Elettromedia products have been
constantly present at the CES in Las Vegas, but this year the
company prepared an unprecedented show. Elettromedia has
unquestionably become a leader within the Olympus of the
world's big consumer electronics companies. And numbers, being
not less than our American or Japanese competitor's, confirm
this achievement: an exhibit area of more than 120 sqmt and an
upper level specifically reserved to commercial meetings; a
staff made up of more than 30 people, out of which more than
half from the Italian head office. The Consumer Electronics
Show of Las Vegas, at its fortieth edition, is the world's most
important event for all the consumer electronics professionals:
this year the show attracted 2,700 exhibitors and more than
114,000 visitors. A large crowd visited the Elettromedia booth,
especially enjoying the brand new Audison ABD Class amplifiers.
Nobody passed by without stopping in front of the Hertz product
display: the new Hertz HP amplifier line, among which the HP
1KD was awarded with the prestigious 2007 Innovations Award,
and the SPL Monster subwoofers simply amazed the crowd. Inside
the booth area a demo car was shown, built according to
ambitious concept: to ensure a true "audiophile" performance
without the need for major modification of the vehicle inside.
The result was an amazing Nissan 350Z in which an Hertz MLK2
kit, an Hertz ML 2500 subwoofer and an Audison LRx 5.1k
amplifier were installed. During the show Elettromedia had
meetings with many customers, partners and distributors from
all over the world. The meeting area arranged on the upper
level of the booth was constantly busy, with a feverish front
desk activity both with distributors and dealers. The
Elettromedia management took the occasion to thank all of its
foreign co-operators and to give the "Elettromedia Dealer of
The Year Award" to East Hamilton Radio based in Ontario,
Canada. The success achieved at the Consumer Electronics Show
confirms the positive trend of our company, which closed 2006
with an historic turnover record, marking a +9% growth
comparing to the previous year. The next show will be My
Special Car Show in Rimini, where Elettromedia will meet the
warmest crowd, the Italian one.

The Car + Sound Show, the 100% car audio/video
Show, managed once again to surprise the fans, but most of all
the car audio and car entertainement professionals: an element
which confirms the importance of the Sinsheim event for the
field experts. The Elettromedia booth was as rich of
attractions as ever before and people were constantly coming to
visit it: there were quite a few times that they actually
rushed at it! Inside the booth some very nice girls have been
staying for three days at the flank of the displayed demo cars.
Within the Elettromedia area there was a Chrysler 300C equipped
with an Audison VRx, a Hertz MLK 3 three-way front system, a
central channel based on two Hertz ML 500 R and two Hertz ML
280 and a Hertz MLK 2 two-way back system. Then, you could also
admire a Hertz ML 5400 D subwoofer in the trunk and the
Connection accessories that were used to do the wiring:
everything was framed in a fibreglass structure. Next to it,
there was a car with a different style but not less impressing:
it is an Alfa GT with the brand new Hertz products, the ML
subwoofers and the HP amplifiers. Just like we did in Rimini,
in Sinsheim as well Elettromedia showed the "made in Italy"
Twister 900 prototype car and the two-seat vehicle received an
even louder success: hundreds of visitors crowded around the
car while the engine was made roar at intervals, pushing it
beyond the 10.000 RPMs'. Elettromedia was present everywhere
within the Show area. Apart from the two-floor huge stand, the
company set up a Hertz display area within the dB Drag area and
an Audison area at the EMMA pavillion. At the Hertz display
area, the visitors had the chance to witness the extraordinary
sound pressure performances of Fiat Punto GT and of an SPL Van,
which was built by the Elettromedia’s German partner A.C.V.. In
both the vehicles Audison LRx amplifiers and Hertz speakers
were installed. At the EMMA space, EMMA being one of the most
well-established sound quality international circuits, the
visitors could listen to the powerful sound of two amazing demo
cars: a Mercedes Class C and an Opel Astra. The Mercedes Class
C was equipped with one Thesis HV Venti, a Hertz MLK 2 two-way
system and the brand new Hertz ML 3000 subwoofer installed in
it, while in the Opel Astra that was realized by Mr. Steven
Sailer, a real master of demo cars, from Austria, three Thesis
HV Venti’s, the Hertz MLK 2 two-way system and three Hertz HX
250 subwoofers were installed. Moreover, these were all
hide-away installations realized in the factory provided
compartments. The Car + Sound Show established itself as one of
the major world events for car audio/video and Elettromedia was
in the centre of this world stage.

LRx is a unique project, originated from the
experience Audison reached with the THESIS HV Venti, where LRx
inherits the guide lines for the best acoustic performances
from. The revolutionary innovations of LRx is based on the
adoption of features which have never been concentrated in one
single product before. ECI is an original system of inputs
realized with interchangeable modules. HCI is a function which
allows you to entirely hide the wiring. AMP is a microprocessor
which manages and controls the amplifier and the audio system.
SAF is a cooling system that contributes to the huge ratio
size/power. LRx: you will only need to look at it, inside and
outside, install it and listen to it to feel you’re owning
something truly special and unparalleled.
